Skin Cancer Removal

Skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, affecting the largest organ of the body, the skin. This condition can cause troublesome skin scars. Plastic surgeons can operate to remove the cancerous skin lesions developed by skin cancer to prevent the cancer from spreading and enhance the appearance.

Several steps are involved in the skin cancer removal procedure, including anesthesia, which is administered for comfort during the surgery; removal, which involves excision of the skin lesion; and reconstruction, where the disfigurement is addressed using a local flap. After the procedure, a dressing is applied to the operation site. This surgical procedure can effectively change the appearance.
